Best Hotel Plunge Pools In Mexico

From Los Cabos to the Riviera Maya there are many types of hotels in Mexico and one of my favorites are the ones with a plunge pool in the room. Whether it's for a couple's trip or just to relax, rooms with plunge pools are a plus when they have spectacular views.

One thing I look for when booking a hotel room with a pool is that the water is warm. Here is is my list of the best hotel plunge pools in Mexico.

If you are looking for the best hotels for a romantic getaway in Mexico read my previous article.

Waldorf Astoria Pedregal, Los Cabos

The Waldorf Astoria Pedregal is without a doubt one of my favorite hotels in Mexico but having a pool in the room is even better. It has a view of the Pacific Ocean and the desert from where you can see the best sunrises and sunsets. The pool is a great size and of course heated.

I made a video with the complete review of the Waldorf Astoria Pedregal Los Cabos on my YouTube channel.

Banyan Tree Mayakoba

The Banyan Tree Mayakoba is an incredible hotel and ideal to enjoy as a couple or as a family. All rooms are villas and have a huge heated pool right outside your room.

You can decide what kind of view you want, either jungle or sea, and it is a very good option to relax or refresh yourself.

If you haven't seen my video of the Banyan Tree Mayakoba on my YouTube channel, go check it out.

One&Only Mandarina

The One & Only Mandarina is one of my favorite hotels in Mexico. Being immersed in the jungle of Nayarit in a tree house makes you really enjoy your experience with nature. The room itself is wonderful and having a plunge pool is even better.

I did a full review of the One & Only Mandarina on my YouTube channel.

Belmond Casa Sierra Nevada

In the historic center of San Miguel de Allende, you will find the beautiful Belmond Casa Sierra Nevada Belmond Casa Sierra Nevada just a few meters from the iconic cathedral. The suites and presidential suite have a terrace and a heated plunge pool, plus it is located in an incredible location ideal for exploring the city of San Miguel de Allende. After a tiring day exploring the city, it was nice to come back and relax in our private pool before dinner.

You can find the full review I did of the Belmond Casa Sierra Nevada SMA on my Youtube channel.

Cala de Mar, Ixtapa

All rooms in Cala de Mar have an in-room pool and being located on a cliff guarantees an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean. This hotel is ideal for couples, it is a romantic hotel and is just a 45 minute flight from Mexico City.

I made a video in Cala de Mar on my Youtube channel.

Viceroy, Riviera Maya

Another romantic hotel is the Viceroy Riviera Maya. All the rooms in this hotel have a large heated pool that is surrounded by jungle. This option is perfect for a getaway with your partner or to take a break from the city.

The complete review of the Viceroy Riviera Maya you can find it on my Youtube channel.

Chable Maroma

In the middle of the jungle in the Riviera Maya is this beautiful resort where you can find a private pool in your room. What I like about this plunge pool is that you can see coatis walking while you enjoy your swim in your pool.

I made a video about Chable Maroma on my Youtube channel, it was my first video.

Nobu Los Cabos

The Nobu Los Cabos is a great option if you are looking for sun and tranquility. The plunge pool has its own jacuzzi and is ideal for a romantic getaway with your partner. We also stayed in the swim-up rooms which were a great option but we loved our plunge pool because we had more privacy.

Banyan Tree Cabo Marques

If you are in the CDMX and are looking for a romantic getaway near the city, the Banyan Tree Cabo Marques in Acapulco is a great option. Each villa has its own heated plunge pool with spectacular views and is only 4-5 hours by car or 38 minutes by plane.

If you have any recommendations of hotels with plunge pools that I should visit, please write them in the comments section below.
