Work Diary: Campaign for Clothing Brand

VERTICHE SUMMER 2021

In the world of modeling there are several types of jobs that you can do as a model, some of them are commercials that can be advertising campaigns, and commercials for TV, there are also editorials which are mostly for magazines and are more artistic and the that we all think of when we refer to models, the catwalks.

On this occasion I did a campaign for a Mexican clothing brand. This work was for social networks and also for the physical stores of this brand. However, I could find myself around several cities throughout the republic in window displays and billboards. I felt very excited so I wanted to share with you what my work experience was like that day.

We start the day at 5 in the morning. My appointment was at 6 am so getting up early gave me time to take my Uber without rushing and drink a coffee to start my day with energy. It was cold when I arrived at the location where we would take the photos. Generally the mornings in CDMX are very cool.

We were 4 girls who were going to model the clothes for this campaign and one of them, Mercedes, was from my modeling agency. Broke Model Management so it was nice to meet someone I already knew before.

When we arrived they sent us to breakfast, some of the models ate while others began to apply our makeup and fix our hair. The catering was very attentive and the food was delicious, they had snacks all the time, hot coffee and tea. Also the costume girls and the photography team were very friendly.

It was a very pleasant job, the concept was youthful, full of color and smiles. We became good friends and I have always thought that when we work comfortably and in a good mood, the day flows and you don't feel so tired.

The work day ended at 5 pm, but I was very happy with the results. I told my booker Andrea how my day had been and that everyone was very friendly. My agent is always looking out for me when I work, I let her know when I arrive, when I leave, when we go to eat and in case something happens, she is always there and it is something that I am very grateful for, without a doubt that is what defines a good agency.
