Diary With Photos: Belmond La Samanna Saint Martin

During our vacation in the Caribbean, we decided to visit Sint Maarten, a half-Dutch and half-French island. The island is large and has an international airport so it was very easy for us since it was a midpoint to move between islands.

You want to know what to do in St Barth, take a look at my previous article where I tell you.

Belmond La Samanna

The hotel Belmond La Samanna It is located on the French side of the island, Saint Martin. Located next to one of the most spectacular beaches in the French Antilles, lounge baie It is a private beach more than a mile long where only the hotel has land access and via sea.

It is located 10 minutes from Sint Maarten International Airport.

It has been one of the most beautiful and photogenic places I have visited, every corner is full of details with spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea.

It has 2 outdoor pools and one of them is an infinity pool where you can relax and see the sea.

From the entrance it leaves you breathless. I want to mention that the service is excellent, everyone is very friendly and there is nothing better in a hotel than the warmth of the staff.

If you want to see the video of the complete review of the Belmond La Samanna hotel, it will be available soon with subtitles on my YouTube channel, subscribe so you don't miss it.

The beach is one of the most beautiful on the island, and it is also excellent for snorkeling among other water activities.

Belmond La Samanna has 3 restaurants, for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

L'Oursan, the fine dining restaurant which was one of my favorites for dinner as the atmosphere was so romantic.

La Plaj for the time of lunch It was my favorite since it is located in front of the sea and in addition to enjoying your fresh food, you enjoyed an incredible view.

And as you know, I usually fast in the mornings until lunchtime so I can enjoy my meal in the afternoon.

The Cave It has more than 6,000 bottles of wine, so you will always have an option that you love, plus you can organize a tasting with Luca Germaná, the wine expert.

I want to mention that the bar was spectacular, very cozy and ideal to watch the sunset before dinner or for an aperitif before meal time since it has the stunning view of the sea.

It was without a doubt an experience that we enjoyed very much, it is a beautiful hotel and we are eager to visit on our next trip. Belmond Cap Juluca which is located on Anguilla, a neighboring island.
