The Most Beautiful Beaches in Mexico

cozumel

Mexico is one of the most interesting destinations for vacation, you can find cities with incredible architecture full of history, 132 magical towns, jungle, rivers, etc. As for beaches, Mexico has an extensive list of places from the Pacific, the Gulf to the Caribbean, which makes them different but each one has its charm. If you have any beach recommendations, leave your comment in the box below.

Tulum, Quintana Roo

Tulum is known for the incredible turquoise color of the sea water, many restaurants and good atmosphere. My recommendation would be to do a little research on the sargassum situation since in some months of the year it can be quite a lot. Beaches are usually cleaned after hurricane season in the months of September and October. They generally remain free of sargassum during the winter and spring; summer is when the sargassum returns. If you are planning a special vacation or honeymoon, it might be a better option to visit another beach during the sargassum months.

In the Mexican Caribbean there are many of the most beautiful beaches in the country, but also tourist ones. Personally, I like to go when there are not so many people and be able to enjoy the sea more.

Tulum
Holbox Island, Quintana Roo

Holbox is a paradise. It is located between the Gulf of Mexico and the Mexican Caribbean, what makes this island something special is the shallow depth of the sea. You can walk and walk meters and the water will be below your waist. The sunsets are incredible. One of my favorite places in Holbox is Punta Mosquitos. My favorite hotel on the island is Hotel Casa Las Tortugas I made a video on my YouTube channel about this beautiful place.

Intercontinental, Cozumel Island, Quintana Roo

The incredible turquoise color and clarity of the water make Cozumel the perfect place for water activities. Kayaking, paddle board, snorkelling, diving, among others. The Intercontinental Cozumel without a doubt in a spectacular place and on that side of the island, sargassum is scarce.

Andaz, Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo

The Andaz Hotel It is located within a hotel complex made up of 4 luxury hotels called Mayakoba. In my opinion, Andaz beach is the most beautiful, in addition to having a spectacular color, it also has a restaurant right on the seashore with very fresh and delicious food. If you want to see the full review of the hotel and how spectacular the beach is watch my video on YouTube. It is not necessary to stay at the Andaz to enjoy the beautiful beach, the beaches in Mexico are public.

Andaz Mayakoba
Santa Maria Bay, Baja California Sur

I recently visited the hotel Montage in Los CabosThe most impressive thing for me was this wonderful beach in the desert, without a doubt an oasis. Santa María Bay is one of the few beaches in Mexico that have the Blue Flag. Many hotels in Los Cabos have a beach, but most are not swimmable. The water temperature was delicious and also perfect for snorkeling. If you want to see the full review of the hotel and Santa María Bay, don't forget to visit my YouTube channel. It is not necessary to stay at the Montage Los Cabos to enjoy the beautiful Santa Maria Bay, the beach is open to the public.

Balandra Beach, Baja California Sur

Baja California Sur is one of my favorite destinations in all of Mexico. I love seeing the mountains with the turquoise sea, plus it is surrounded by desert. Balandra Beach has been one of the most spectacular places I have visited, access to the beach is limited and if you want to have a good place under an umbrella in the heat of the desert, my recommendation is that you arrive very early, at 9 In the morning there is no more space. What makes this beach special is that there are no restaurants nearby so you have to bring your own food and drinks. When you finish you have to take everything you brought with you to keep Playa Balandra impeccable.

Balandra Beach
Caleta Blanca, Jalisco

This small beach located in Cuixmala Jalisco, I was surprised. To get there you have to travel about 40 minutes from the hotel and there is only access for 20 people. The water temperature is perfect and the color of the water is very pretty. If you want to see the full review about Cuixmala, don't forget to visit my YouTube channel.

St, Regis, Punta Mita, Nayarit

The beach of St Regis Punta Mita is beautiful, it is located on the Pacific side and is perfect for snorkeling on one side and you can even surf on the other. Sometimes you can find little sharks swimming on the shore, you can also go fishing a few meters further into the sea and ask them to cook your catch at the nice restaurant called Mita Mary. If you want to see the full hotel review St Regis in Punta Mita, don't forget to visit my YouTube channel. The St. Regis has a beach club open to the public.
