Amber Alcocer I think we've all seen a Yuyita video at least once. I can say that her makeup or DIY tutorials accompanied me during my adolescence and to this day I enjoy watching her video blogs, the calm and peace she transmits when she tells us something is something that characterizes Mariand Castrejon. I can say that I have been a fan for over 10 years. Since high school I remember watching makeup tutorials where Yuya said if I can do it, you can too. One of my favorite videos was perfect in autumn, wear that makeup and hairstyle to go to a wedding.
On a trip to Colombia I did African braids, the truth is that I wasn't very sure if I was going to work a lot or a little with my new look, but I wanted to try something new. So when I returned to Mexico, I was very excited to see how I would do with my different hair.
A few weeks passed and when I got the news from my agency and my booker Andrea told me that Yuya had chosen me to work with her and take photos for her Dancing Together brand, I was the happiest person. I felt a little nervous because I didn't know if she was going to be there or what it was going to be like, as a job I had to contain myself, but as a fan I was very anxious because I couldn't believe it.
Yuya has always been a person that I have admired, everything she has achieved on her own and that has always been an inspiration to me. Her career path is impressive, and she is one of the biggest YouTubers in Latin America.
The day arrived. They called us at 8 am Roma Norte, we were 3 models and for my good luck my friend Ashley I was going too. There we met the other girl called Enya who became our great friend. It was a 2 hour drive to Cuernavaca in the state of Morelos. We arrived at the location and were greeted with warm hugs, food, water, coffee and all the kindness of Yuya's team and herself. I was surprised to see the same simplicity that is characteristic of his videos in addition to his kindness and being aware of everything the team might need.
I also remember the girls on their team were so pretty, kind and attentive.
Yuya was there all the time helping, she painted my nails and we talked about my life in Mérida, how I moved to CDMX and how much she and her mom loved my braids. That's when I knew I had made a good decision by giving myself a makeover.
Many people ask me if Yuya is as cute as she is in her videos.. The answer is yes, Yuya is exactly what we see on our YouTube screen. Talkative, kind, helpful and simple are some of the virtues that our Yuyita showed us when working with her.
This is how the results were from the first time I worked for Dancing Together.
The second time. I had the honor of working for Yuya's brand again for the second time, this time it was for the launch of their makeup bases. I think something we were all really looking forward to in Dancing Together were the bases. Fortunately I had the opportunity to work again with Yuyita and her entire team for the photos of something so important.
On this occasion I also met very nice people, the stylists that one of them admired their work on social networks but did not know in person. Their names are Raymundo Montiel and Pau Collado. The MUA that I had already met the first time I worked for Dancing Together called Aracely Zarate At the end of the call he pampered us with masks to hydrate our skin. The hair-stylist who was super friendly and left my hair very nice called Norma Diaz. The photographer Luis Meza which made the photos look incredible, again everyone was super friendly and attentive the entire time. It's nice when the entire creative team and the client create a super pleasant atmosphere and enjoy the work day. The beautiful results.
Something very curious that I want to tell you is that no one noticed Yuya's pregnancy when we were working together. She was there working very normally, moving, taking photos, videos up and down and we didn't have a clue that Mar was on her way. A couple of months later when she made it public, I think we were all surprised and very excited by the beautiful video she published about what she would be like as a mother.
